Botanical garden
The Botanical Garden gives the opportunity to the visitors to get to know plants, herbs, spices and a wide variety of trees from Crete. The tranquility of nature is interrupted by the sounds of birds nesting in the garden. Finally, you can taste fresh food from the park's herb garden.
Gavdos
Gavdos is the southernmost point of Greece. It has only 150 residents and to get there you have to take a boat from Sfakia or Paleochora. It takes you back to the picturesque Crete of several decades ago with crystal clear waters and lots of tranquility.
Wine tasting
Crete is famous for its wines, cheese and olive oil. So, a tasting experience is worth it. At the monastery of Agia Triada, you can taste some of their own wines from their wine cellars. In addition, you can try local delicacies at cheese dairies located on the White Mountains during organized tours.
Seitan Limania Beach
A unique "hidden" beach that can be visited by land after walking down a path. You should bring some water and food with you because there aren't any shops nearby. It is a small sandy beach, so you have to visit it early in the morning in order to find a place to sit down.
German cemetery
The German Cemetery is located near Maleme Airport, where are the graves of 4,465 German Army soldiers, most of whom were paratroopers killed during the Battle of Crete in May 1941.
